The Toronto Heschel School welcomes the involvement of entire families in the school community. We are very fortunate to have an extremely passionate and devoted parent body at Heschel. Parents are often volunteering in classrooms, participating in holiday celebrations, attending class field trips, delivering hot lunches, planning programmes and coordinating major fundraising initiatives to strengthen our community. At Heschel we are committed to educating families on a variety of themes and topics. Our school's admin team and teachers coordinate and facilitate adult learning opportunities twice monthly at our "Focus on..." events in Cafe Shalom. These events aim to empower our families and share some of the curriculum that is being taught in our classroom.
We are grateful for our supportive parent body and we encourage you to become involved with our various projects. Class parents support teachers with special activities and events and communicate with other parents in the class to ensure that every project is a success at Heschel.
