Grades 4 and 5 Physical Education

In Grades 4 and 5 we have begun our basketball unit.  In this unit, students will learn the fundamentals of the game and will practice the basic skills.  We will be focusing our attention on dribbling without looking at the ball, different methods of passing the ball and performing lay-ups.  As with every unit, teamwork, communication and sportsmanship are emphasized.
