TAG! – Teaching About Garbage

Last week the JK class spent some time learning about garbage. Students did important work improving our playground by collecting and sorting litter. They followed up with a scavenger hunt and helped keep recyclables out of the landfill. Kol HaKavod JK!

“TOHU VAVOHU was here first, it was the wildest and the worst….”

The JK students have eagerly started their Chumash studies. In the beginning….. there was Tohu Vavohu . We experienced Tohu Vavohu with a big chaotic tub toy mess!

The students were assigned tasks to start putting some order into the toys. Two students were designated to collect the toys from each bin.

Finally – ORDER in our classroom. No more tohu vavohu!
