My favorite part of going to school at Heschel is free play and outdoor exploration."
Hi All:
Our choir is having a wonderful opportunity to perform for Jewish Music week, on Friday June 8, during the lunch hour from 12 to 1. The concert will take place in a venue on top of Loblaws at St. Clair and Bathurst. This will be our very own gig, ( not shared with anyone else), so it is that much more special. The choir will be singing many tunes and the concert will be roughly 40 minutes.
If you are unable to make this special daytime event, on Thursday June 7, just prior to the Shmuel Aleph and Shmuel Bet plays at school, our choir will be singing one song, as an opener.
I am supremely proud of the work they have done this year, and their enthusiasm is spectacular.
Hope you can come and see for yourself!

WOW!
What an amazing, fun, and informative presentation by Rabbi Yona Vilenkin on bees and honey.
The students as well as the teachers were so engaged and excited to learn more interesting things about these amazing insects.
We even had the chance to see bees working…but not to worry, they were not able to get out and fly around the classroom.
The students had the chance to dress up in the the bee keeper’s safety outfit, smell and touch honeycombs and even use the same tools that bee keepers use to scrape off honey.
Each student had the opportunity to take home delicious honey for you to enjoy over Rosh Hashanah!
Enjoy it and Shana Tova!

The new computer lab equipment has started arriving. We plan to have it all up and running within the next few days. The new computer lab equipment was purchased with the proceeds from the Table Talk fundraiser last year.
Thanks to the lunch programme fundraiser, the new musical instruments for the entire school have started arriving.
