After School Chuggim
Dear Heschel Families,
We are pleased to announce our 2026 Winter Extracurricular / Chuggim Programs. Please sign up directly with our third-party providers.
Registration Deadline for all Winter Chuggim Programs is January 6th.
Please note: If your child is in Grades 1-3, they will go directly to the Kids’ Club Room at dismissal. The program instructors will pick the student up at the Kids’ Club Room and take them to the program. Early Years students will be signed out from their classroom and taken by a staff member to the program. Those children who are part of Aftercare or Early Years Aftercare will be taken back to aftercare at the completion of the program.

Monday
Dance to the Beat with L’Dance
In this high-energy program, your child will learn hip hop-style dance, stay active and have fun! Dancers will explore this exciting style through stretching across the room exercises, obstacles and learning a full routine that will be filmed and shared at the end of the session. Classes are designed for energetic boys and girls!

Lego Afterschool Club
Join the Lego Club to unleash the creative potential of children through the world of LEGO Building.
This is a Play based program emphasized using creativity to build an a hands-on experience including problem solving

Junior Drama
Our Junior drama program returns in 2026 with a continued focus on fundamentals and the addition of skill building in relation to performance! !Building on theatre techniques introduced in the fall term, our youngest Heschel Players will be guided in the creation of an original ‘mini performance’ to be presented in conjunction with the Mainstage Heschel Players production of Annie Jr. on May 25 &/or 26 at Fairview Library Theatre.
This drama program spans two full terms. Students must enroll for the entire 15 week program in order to be eligible to perform on one of the performance dates at the theatre in May.
As spaces are limited, priority will be given to those currently enrolled in Junior Drama for the fall 2025 term.

ART CLUB with Moreh Marino
